HOW IT WORKS

Jim keeps context, not just conversations.

HeyJim is designed around a simple loop: understand what is happening, recall only what is relevant, suggest or plan the next step, and act only within the permissions you have given.

01

You give Jim a world to understand.

Add useful details directly, approve facts extracted from documents, connect supported email accounts and organise information around people, businesses, properties, vehicles and projects. Jim should not silently convert everything he sees into permanent memory.

02

Context mode follows the active task.

When enabled, HeyJim can refresh its understanding while you work rather than taking one screenshot and forgetting it. Browser DOM, app accessibility information and connected-service data provide structured context. Visual analysis can be used as a fallback when structure is not enough.

03

Jim retrieves the smallest useful slice of memory.

If you are dealing with a JET Landscapes supplier form, Jim should retrieve the business details and relevant documents — not dump your home, family and unrelated records into the task.

04

The planner chooses one safe step at a time.

For computer tasks, Jim works through atomic actions: inspect, choose a target, execute, observe the new state, then continue. The target is resolved against the real interface rather than trusting a vague label from the model.

05

Consequential steps stop for you.

Sending, submitting, signing, deleting, paying, revealing protected data or attaching sensitive documents should not happen merely because a model generated the words. The resolved destination is checked and higher-impact actions require confirmation.

06

Jim remembers the useful outcome.

Documents can keep provenance, replacements can inherit active reminders, actions can be logged without copying protected values into history, and the next related task starts with more context than the last one.

A 30-SECOND EXAMPLE

Email arrives → document found → reply prepared → renewal noticed.

Email

“Please send your current PL certificate.”

Context

Jim recognises the company and request.

Memory

The current certificate is already linked to that business.

Action

Jim prepares the draft and proposes the attachment.

Safety

You review before anything consequential leaves the machine.

Proactive

Jim sees the policy is nearing expiry and offers the next reminder.
