Who we are

This notice explains how [Company / operator name] handles personal information in connection with the HeyJim website and private-beta product.

Information HeyJim may process

Depending on the features you choose, this can include account information; facts you intentionally save; uploaded documents and extracted metadata; entity relationships; reminders; connected-email content and metadata; browser, app and screen context you authorise; voice input; integration credentials or tokens; and records of actions you ask HeyJim to perform.

Why information is used

Information may be used to provide the requested functionality, maintain security, retrieve relevant personal context, analyse documents, operate connected services, prepare or perform user-directed actions, notify you about reminders, diagnose faults, prevent misuse and operate the private beta.

Local data and AI processing

HeyJim is designed to keep protected vault information on your device where supported. AI features are not necessarily offline. Selected context needed for an AI task may be sent to the configured AI provider. Connected services such as Microsoft or Google necessarily exchange information with those providers when you invoke related features.

Data minimisation

The product is being designed to use the context relevant to the task rather than disclose an entire vault by default. Highly protected values are treated separately from ordinary saved information.

Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and the feature used. Local records remain until you remove them, replace them, delete the local vault or uninstall without retaining a backup. Connected-service tokens can be removed by disconnecting the service. Server-side operational records, if introduced, should be retained only for defined periods.

Your choices and rights

Product controls are being developed for access/export, correction, deletion, disconnecting integrations and account removal. Applicable data-protection law may also give you rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.

Security

HeyJim uses technical controls including encryption for protected local data, per-user encryption keys, permission boundaries, action confirmation and context minimisation. No software or device is completely secure, and users remain responsible for securing their device and account credentials.
